Location
Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel has a nice cozy feel to it, replicating an old brownstone but updated without losing its charm. The location is great despite being next to a large construction site, with just a few minutes walk to non-touristic areas, very nice restaurants nearby, and a good shopping area. The rooms, however, were not as good as depicted in their photos, with smelly and stained sheets and limited outlets making phone charging challenging. The service was satisfactory, with friendly and accommodating staff, especially Michael from the front desk. The breakfast was subpar, offering little and very dry croissants. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel is clean and offers a convenient stay close to museums and Central Park.
The hotel's location is its strongest point, near Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum, making it ideal for those looking to explore NYC. The rooms were small but clean, reminiscent of cozy European accommodations. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. However, the breakfast options were extremely basic and disappointing.
The hotel was incredibly convenient, just 3 short blocks from 5th avenue and one block from the Lexington Avenue subway. The rooms were quiet, though they could use more furniture. The service was top-notch, with the front desk person Michael being very accommodating. The location was ideal for exploring New York, especially near Central Park. The dining options were limited, so breakfast was disappointing.
The hotel has nicely appointed, spotless, quiet, and comfortable rooms, although they could use more electrical outlets and tend to be cold. The close proximity of rooms can lead to noise from the halls. The service is super friendly, especially Michael at the front desk, who is very accommodating, helpful, pleasant, and polite. The location is excellent, with easy access to Museum Mile, Central Park, Fifth Avenue, and subway stations. The dining experience may be lacking, with minimal breakfast options and dim lighting. The hotel lacks dining variety and value for money.
The hotel offers small but comfortable rooms with some limitations like minimal outlets and tiny bathrooms. The location is excellent, near a subway station and Central Park, but lacks vibrant restaurant options. The service is accommodating, especially the front desk person, Michael, yet the dining options could use improvement.
The hotel's location is perfect, just steps away from Central Park and close to the subway, making it a great base for exploring the Upper East Side. The rooms, though small, have been nicely renovated with new bathrooms. The service was friendly and helpful, despite a minor issue with record-keeping. The dining options were basic and lacked lactose-free choices, but the homemade pastries were a highlight.
